[서울신문 나우뉴스]스티브 잡스 애플 최고경영자(CEO)가 ‘6주 시한부 인생’ 건강악화설이 나온 하루만에, 오바마 미국 대통령이 연 만찬에 참석한 것으로 확인됐다.
AP통신, 로이터 등의 보도에 따르면 18일(현지시간) 오바마 대통령이 샌프란시스코에 있는 벤처캐피탈리스트 존 두어의 집에서 연 저녁만찬에 스티브 잡스를 초대했고, 잡스는 이에 응한 것으로 알려졌다.
미국 타블로이드지인 내셔널 인콰이어러는 17일 “잡스의 병세가 심각한 상황이며 6주밖에 살지 못한다.”고 보도했지만 이내 오바마 대통령의 만찬에 참석할 것이 알려져 궁금증을 증폭시켰다.
로이터는 “만찬에 참석한 잡스의 실제 모습은 공개되지 않았지만, 초대 손님들이 모두 참석했다.”고 만찬 관계자의 말을 인용 보도했다.
